Guys and Girls, what do you think on wrapping the front lip on my ST , undecided on doing it?

Not for me personally Tom but if you like it you should go for it.

I would like to but adds £100 to my insurance as well so having to think a little longer for that one.

I went to a local body shop last weekend, they are top notch and do work for premiership footballers. They quoted me £500 to do the front and rear plastics.

I think that's a bit steep personally so going to get some other quotes or do it in stages.

Holly crap that's expensive I'm thinking about doing it myself unless I find someone cheap enough. Trying to find a friend of a friend 1st :)

I know. To be fair they would strip the parts off the car, rub them all smooth and prime with plastic primer, paint etc and refit so would be a fair bit of work. I saw some work the guys had done on a Merc and it was absolutely immaculate. Would be happier paying £200 to be honest though.

There was a firm advertising their work on here in a thread but I can't find it, it was about 3 weeks ago, I think it was £230 for an exchange of front fog light surrounds, bottom grill and rear bumper all sprayed up gloss black.

Yer 200 would be as much as I would pay on this !

Think I will try a different place this weekend see what they charge.

Keep me updated that's on hold as I'm saving for the mp215 and intake hose lol

I like that hose as well but £99 is a bit steep. What colour you going to get, I'd have the blue I think and also think about painting the engine cover body coloured, saw one here and it looked good.

I know what you mean. But gonna do it after the mp215 no real point now. Blue was my idea but not really thought about it if not be red I guess :)

the mountune hose coupled with mp215 upgrade is great, im so glad I had it done

Really worth it then? What did you pay all together inc fitting etc cause taking mine in for the scuff plate tomorrow gonna get a quote so know how much to save up to get it lol

Owe yes. On paper it seems a lot of money for not much power, I was a little worried of how it was going to be, but first time I started the engine it has a much deeper growl to it, and the extra power is great, 3rd gear now feels like the old 2nd etc. the extra torque around 3000 rpm is A LOT of fun. I have noticed a drop in mpg but that is because im booting it everywhere atm lol also at 6000 rpm the power isnt flat like it is in standard, it keeps pulling and pulling, brings a massive smile to your face. Turn the ESC off completely and the car is soooo much fun. Think my tyres are screaming for a rest though

I paid £99 for hose (red) and fitted myself and £675 for the MP215 fitted.

It's getting done then lol gonna wait till Christmas time tho got a big holiday to pay for yet wasn't expecting to even get the car till next year but I'm a sales mans dream I get sucked in to easy.

Decided on my final design, booked in for next weekend £40 for the wrap. Going to add front and rear yellow st inlays and a mountune sticker to the front lip.

Love the yellow inlays wanted them on mine we're u get them from ? Here them on a blue one for u blue fans. It was my phone background for abit while waiting for mine to come lol :)
