Oh, I arrived at brake pipes through a quite a different reasoning with your second clue

Policeman and copper was obvious: but where you were more likely to see a princess?  I reckoned it would be on a kids TV channel such as  Nickelodeon.  You can change your steel Bundy brake pipes for ones made of Kunifer (Nickel and Copper).  :laugh:

Nearly every car has 2, some have 4 and I dare say some exotica may have more.
