fitted to a ford tdi galaxy,vw sharan tdi and seat alhambra tdi.

if it dont work properly,its VERY SMOKEY.

if its working then you hear A JET ENGINE NOISE.

and because there engines are so efficient they do not produce enough waste heat to heat the car.HENCE why they are fitted hence why it can be FREEZING.

First googled your username to find the forums you are on which lead me to the Ford Galaxy. Then found the wikipedia page on it which gave me the vw and seat links.

Then just started googling smoke and cold problems with the galaxy and found the auxiliary/booster heater to be a common problem causing smoke in the car.

Will try and think of something and post up soon.
