Yeah it had a nice drop, that was when they was first fitted it dropped abit more when they bedded in (I was too impatient ) I don't think you will use any problems after all they are adjustable set them to comfy!

If your like me who has a 1 year old baby money pit springs are always cheap option but that bit more for coilovers is worth it mate

Thanks for the info bud. Will have a think now then. Will be the end of this month if I decide to do it.

  • Well, car came back from the garage, the alignment on the front is still off a bit so it's going back out on Monday morning. Not to worry. The car was stinkin' filthy so I managed to get a quick wash

  • The postman brought me a nice wee parcel today. Got my new HID set. Nice and white. Very pleased. I've noticed though that these being 55w, the 'click' I usually get when turning on my light

Aye it'll be gunmetal grey. Not too much to stand out like a sore thumb but still visible against the black.

My cars not an ST so I used the same font and did TI for Titanium.

I'm not sure yet. The colour is great. Might take a while to get used to. I followed the line of the side strips. Maybe shoulda been done along the lower edge of the doors?

Jealous

Looks sweet

Been toying with the idea of doing it on my mondy but not sure if it would look right on a longer car

Really need some side skirts to go with the stripes now though dude. Would finish the sides off beautifully

I really want to get those wheel centre caps as I have the same wheels

How much was they?

I MIGHT be able to do you a set if you want them? There might be enough material left to do it. Will let you know.

I got them off eBay dude. I think they were £13 for the set. Can't remember off hand. If I find the link I'll post it up here.

Skirts would be great. I've had this bookmarked for a while:

I may purchase them some day but I'm toying with the idea of coilovers at the minute.

If your toying with the idea of side skirts at 180quid mate I still have the ms design body kit going

Sideskirts should fit straight on as they already the right colour but the front/rear lip will need spraying

Full bodykit for near enough the same price as a set of unprimed skirts

Any luck finding the link for the wheel centres yet mate?

The PS2 arrived today. Smaller than I remember lol I did a test run at lunchtime but managed to get the whole thing sorted after work.

This is where it lives:

post-41109-143136806586_thumb.jpg

I cut the slider/wheel/venty job at the very back if he glove box to allow the leads to pass through. Didn't get a pic though. The power cable is routed under the centre console and up under the passenger side dash trim. I have that plugged in permanently so whenever I need power I just plug in the 12v in my armrest.

I have this crappy video to show the thing working and where everything is.

http://youtu.be/fO3hjgbeKe4

I was juggling the controller and my phone so bare with me lol also the music on NFSU really is bad.

Looks great,

Heres the seller for the controller extension cables for permanent fit under seats

I just realised... I've been saying I have the 50mm H&R lowering spring set but turns out I have the 40mm set? How silly.

Maybe I'll try the 50mm set ;) ?

Loving the PS2 mod! Technical question: you just connected it to the "video in" and "audio in" connectors on the back of the stereo? And when you want to play, you just switch to that input on the stereo?

One more thing I noticed...if you remember, we were discussing the angel eye headlights in it's thread few months ago, respectively the bulbs for the angel eye rims...I remember you ordering the same as I did, but looking at your pictures few pages back here, it looks like yours shine little bit brighter...did you change the bulbs for something better? Because I did...I'm currently using LEDs with SMD5630 chips which should have the brightest output, but compared to the previous ones (SMD 5050) they look the same...(and yeah, I'm considering using angel eyes as DRLs here...)

Hi mate. Yea it's connected to the AUX IN Red, White and Yellow inputs on the rear of the unit. So when I want to play it, I plug in my power and flick the head unit to "AUX IN" and there it is.

Sometimes I think my bulbs are really bright and other days I can hardly see them, I think it depends on the daylight. I used the same bulbs I mentioned back the , the set off eBay. No problems with them at all so far. I can't remember which Kelvin rating I got, I think it must be 6000K, not sure. I've also noticed that since I added the headlight brows, it's made the inside of the headlight a bit darker so this may be why the bulbs look brighter sometimes? Just a thought.

Thanks for the info! Yeah, I thought so too about the eyelids...I'd really like to use the angel eyes as DRLs - you know, as "all in one" headlights, not with separate DRLs like I have now...guess it's just not meant to be... :)
