Some news.

The car is up for sale. I mentioned a while back about some knee trouble the pedals heights were giving me. It hasn't gotten any better at all which is why I'm forced to sell. I'm worried it'll cause me serious problems as I get older, it's that painful. I still love the car, it's the best I've ever owned but I have no choice really.

It's up for sale on a few places, I'm not sure I'll get asking price but I'll see how it goes for now.

Not sure what to look for in regards to a new car. I'll have to keep an eye open for something I can get with the money from the sale. If it sells.

All that hard work , effort , money , labour gone into it will be on a plate for someone else for price of standard car. I was in the same boat but for different reasons on my mk1.5 esp. Saying that i removed & sold all or most parts. I really miss my old car more than this Titanium. You will see why when i re post build thread again for memory.

Cars been up for sale for about 5 days now with no word. Knee pain has subsided for now with new painkillers which just emphasises how good the car actually is. I'll enjoy it for now until the pain comes back again. That's about all I can do.

Do you wear any knee supports or braces?

I have knee trouble and a heavy clutch pedal on my car so always ensure I go into neutral at any opportunity when stopped.

Hmm maybe it's the car that's not made my knee feel great... :(

Had a good week at work this week. Firstly we had an XC90 in for a full wrap from black to white:

Then yesterday, I heard the "warbling" outside and that unmistakable smell of motor oil. This pulled into the garage for some pin striping:

Folks I can't bare to let the focus go with all the add-Ons I bought for it so I'm putting the car back stock and selling things like my head unit, ST spoiler and other bits n pieces. Keep an eye out for the sale thread.

Change of heart. Keeping the car. Can't bare to see it go for silly money. I'll just grin and bare the pain :D time for a wee present for the car then.

Probably the best choice :) did you already have a problem with your knees or did it start with the focus? Had mine nearly 3 years n never had a problem with the pedals. But then I had my cruise control on every time I hit the motorway ;)

I never had one bit of bother with my knee being painful until I got the focus lol I had a mk7 fiesta before this and that was perfect, so comfortable. I put it down to the seating position being quite high. I it there's nothing I can do about the pedal positions ?

Id check the height of an ST interior before selling mate,

Or purchase a passenger seat from germany it will fit our drivers side and be lower frame same as the passenger one is.

If you look at the height of the seats the drivers seat is lower than the passenger seat,

I reckon the seat brackets are different.

Passenger seat is higher than drivers

I rushed this morning to take out my special bulbs I had forgotten about before I though I was selling the car. So this afternoon I rushed to put them back in again before the snow.

It could just be me, but I feel that my new driver's seat sits lower than the old one. Perfect excuse for a leather upgrade :)
