It's probably fine (or as fine as a vauxhall can be).. If the V5 story is true then all it will take is patience and the statement that you'll not buy until that is through/clarified. The only bit that I dislike (again other than the vauxhall part) is the bank transfer...

Yet he is asking for immediate cash payment. He shouldn't even put the car up for sale until he has the V5.

What is leaking out from under the boot? Has it got a body in there?

I was half expecting the photos showing a Vectra hiding behind a Ford badge to try and hide the error of his ways buying a Vauxhall in the first place.
