I've got a Mondeo mk4, I need to know where the paint code location is, usually in VW cars it's in the boot, however, it's not the case with the Mondeo, I do know that the name is "thunder grey", amazing name!! Just need to know the code!

Any help would be greatful!

Right, found it, which row of numbers and letters is it?

On black label, 1st column, last but one from bottom, mine is D8, Ist number is paint colour second number is year so I believe, what year is car.

Presume yours is Thuinder Metalic which should be letter T followed by year.

Found a label with T6 in the engine bay near the front end. Being 6 I don't think it's the year of the car, my Mondeo is a 57 plate. Many thanks!

The number denotes the year your colour was introduced.

It helps to ensure that any slight variations of the base colour are compensated for when mixing paint for touching up.

Perhaps it took a long time for paint to dry :D
