Denso Touchscreen Sat Nav Update Disc For 2005 Mondeo Ghia X Rqd

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I've just acquired a 2005 Mondeo Ghia X with built in Denso Touchscreen Sat/Nav and don't have a manual. Please can someone help. :)

I would also like to upgrade the unit with the latest maps and if necessary, software updates so any help on where I could get these would be very gratefully received.

Thanks,post-61640-0-31605300-1420562324_thumb.j

Hi Glen. I'm in the same boat, did you ever get an answer"

Hi Derek,

I think my name didn't fit because nobody answered so I bought a 2012 set from Bestnavishop.

Unfortunately there's not much info on where the DVD is to put the upgrade disk into.

I thought it was one of the slots in the 6 disk changer, but I think there's a separate DVD drive somewhere near it

and I haven't had time to search for it yet.

Consequently I don't know if the set I bought works, but I'll update this post when I've tried them.

Cheers...

Sat nav disk

Ok, cheers for that, do you know whether the disc has to be in for the Sat nav to work?

I gather once the update is complete, only the maps disk needs to be left inside...

Thank you,

I have the estate China x, you wouldn't know where the disc is located? would you.

Hi Del, I've upgraded my Denso and everything seems to be working fine, so I can recommend Bestnavishop.

The DVD is under the 6 CD changer and you just need to remove the four screws holding the cradle cover on.

I kept my car running while upgrading which was a simple matter of putting in the upgrade DVD and waiting for the automatic process to complete, which took about 10 mins and was in two parts, both indicated on the Denso screen, then inserting the map DVD and restoring the cradle... Cheers G

Thank you very much for the info, have ordered the disc from same place.

just need to find a manual now.

Cheers, Del
