St-2 Rattle Noise

Featured Replies

Ive read on here a few times about rattling but mines doing my nut in, I got the car end of November and this rattle when going over bumps has been there right from the start. Its mainly when I go over a bump with the right wheel, as it sounds more to the drivers side too, I thought i'd leave it for a bit thinking it'll sort its self out, but now in March and the rattles still there.

I took it to the garage last week for them to have a look at, he said he could hear the rattle but he's checked all the obvious places and couldn't see anything, he said the next step is to book it in for a full day for a further look, pulling all the dashboard up etc which i wasn't keen on, don't want my new car's dashboard getting pulled to pieces, it'll probably rattle more after they're done with pulling it apart. I'm no expert but it doesn't sound like it's coming from the dashboard anyway, it sounds more engine/suspension, you can sometimes hear the rattle when your slamming the car door shut from the outside.

Anyone had something similar?

Probably a heat shield or the exhaust.
