Mk2 Towbar Wiring

Featured Replies

I recently took the towbar off a '98 Mondeo Saloon and fitted it to my 2000 2.0 auto. As the older car was being scrapped, I cut the towbar wiring off the loom so I could match the colours to the wiring in my car but my car has different coloured wires! The plug is the 7 pin type, just for a light board on a small trailer. Any suggestions welcome,

easiest answer is to tap into them after tracking them down. If you get yourself a Haynes guide, you can pull the wiring from there.

Thanks for the advice. So happens I checked out the MK3 wiring loom colours and they matched so I fitted it and it works fine!
