Thats a bit harsh Laumk7.£50.I have only had the car two days,20 years not being touched i think a few months sorting it out wil net a very nice profit. Not £50000 i know but a few grand.

Why has it been stored for 20 years ?

As said it's nice to see an unmolested mk3 for a change, nothing changes that, but you've got to set yourself a realistic goal, even a few grand I think personally is too high, low hundreds maybe if done to a decent finish but you'll be lucky to break even given the work it probably needs. Maybe Dan wants to buy it off you ;)

I don't understand why Laurie is coming across aggressive? From what I understand Daniel was just saying a standard Cosworth would be worth more than a heavily modified one. Probably similar with the Fiesta.

Would love to see it resorted, fully standard and kept for show!

Sorry Laurie we posted at the same time!! :)

I got that feeling to

Apologies if I came across as aggressive that was not my intention :)

Sorry Laurie we posted at the same time!! :)

It's no problem x

A absolute shed of a mk3 goes for a few hundred so a car with only 3300 miles will sell for a lot more. You dont have to be so negative with me,just want advice.

No problem Laurie, I understand now! lol

if the stickers were on it when left the showroom it would be worth more money too many people remove these and then they become rare you can check from the vin if was factory fitted if so keep them on the car

To the right buyer, an original, with a rolling restoration, would be worth a fair few quid. I have seen a Escort RS Turbo which was rotten and unoriginal shift for £750, just because it was an RS. I can't see it being too much £££ to restore, as long as it isn't crusty. If it has rust in all the wrong places it would break well

Thanks for all your advice. I have a friend who works at Ford Dunton , so I will get him to check out the history of the car and let you all know what I find out.
