Featured Replies

Im hoping the wire colours do turn out to be correct.

When i was wiring in my parking camera to the passenger side reverse light in the tail gate it turned into a right faff as the live wire turned out to be the last wire I tried, solid black. Not the green one which turned out to be for the fog I believe

right after sitting in the boot for half an hour the resistors are spliced in and crudely taped to metal

post-34566-0-59675000-1426378556_thumb.j

ran out of fabric tape when i fitted the rear camera so i need to acquire some more and i'll add some to the resistor splicing for extra insulation

they are doing what they should and have stopped the rapid blinking

HOWEVER...

as nothing is ever simple, i have now noticed that the passenger side dual filament bulb for the side light/brake light in the boot (not the tailgate) does now not work

if i take it out and put it in the wrong way round, it does work (using the brake light filament as the tail light) the bulb wont lock into place this way though

inspecting the bulb both filaments appear to be intact and neither look damaged so i do not understand why the side light has suddenly stopped working on that side

all the 3 other rear side lights are till working as they should

I had that issue, replaced the bulb and it worked a treat.
