Fiesta 2004 Abs Light On

hi all can anybody give me a bit of advice about my wife 2004 fiesta I put a set of new pads in a few days ago and a new wheel bearing and now the abs light stopping on .also I replaced the rear wheel bearing and the same problem with the abs rear light .when I start the engine up the handbrake/abs light go off I can drive for about 50 second and the light come on and the speedo stop work .but so as I turn it of and start it up the same thing happen? also when I replaced the rear bearing one side was rubber and the other side was metal could anyone give me advice what side go where cause this could be the prob on the rear thank s



Think you'll need to recheck what's what with the bearing/hubs you've worked on recently - pretty likely you've disturbed something with the wheel speed sensor I'd say.

When you start the car it could well decide all is ok but then once you're driving and it's not getting signal from one or more sensors it'll throw up a fault as you see once driving off.
