Cambelt Questions -- Mondeo 2L Diesel 2010

Featured Replies

my mondeo titanium has now done over 110,000 miles, i dont know if it has ever had the cambelt changed.

when should they be done ?

what sort of prices have you paid to have this done ?

i have been quoted the job including parts at £674. sounds alot to me..

125k or 10 years whichever sooner, so another 15k to go, that sounds expensive!!

2.7 hrs of labour @ your garage rate +parts inc auxillary belt, and the dreaded 20% vat

would have thought £400 max

unlucky your nowhere near me.£250 cash lol. only kidding, dont do on the drive stuff anymore.

Hi.

I have just bought a 2.0 Titanium X and got a quote from my local Ford dealer of £622.50 including the water pump.

I managed to get them to drop it to £522 but got the dealer I bought the car from to do it for £300 to secure the deal.

S I assume that £600 plus is the average.
