hey guys need some help with removing my egr and cleaning it.

thing is I have no idea which specific tools I need as my car skills arnt really up 2 scratch and this is my first time.

im popping to Halfords tomorrow so if someone can tell me what I need so its easy for me it would be greatly appreciated thanks guys :)

Simply blank it for about £3 :)

Blanking it's fine, once it's clean. If it's clogged up and restricting flow then just blanking it won't help.

that's what I will do clean first but exactly do I need tools wise? specifically

I use carb cleaner, it's pretty nasty stuff. A couple of tins of that depending on how bad.

A 10mm socket/spanner to remove the egr pipe, an 8mm socket/spanner to remove the egr from the manifold and a screwdriver to remove the jubilee clip from the boost pipe.

Something like thst anyway, it's been a few months since I last done one.

so the socket what does that connect to the spanner or lol?

Use a 1/4 drive spcket, small extension and ratchet handle
