Ahh I live near Purfleet, I wondered what that big ship with these green blocks on was going up the Thames last wed when I was sitting on Canvey beach!!!

i'm not sure if it is fords that come into purfleet i think it is the ships are massive carry thousands of cars they also go into imingham which is hull way.

Since I passed my test on the 11 April 1983 I have not been without a car for so long . . . although because it has already been 11 weeks I can't get too excited as it just feels so unreal that it is ever going to happen - I guess once I have got confirmation that he has been built and I have a number plate for him then things will definately change.

Got the second week in September off work so I can go out and play with him too!

I love Malta!!!! My favourite place. I remember visiting Melliha Bay and all the cars had big plastic sheets on with the numberplate written on because it was so hot there!!

I went 3/4 times with my parents staying at Paradise Bay 3 times and the Barcelo Riviera last time.

Went with Matt last summer from August 19th-26th stayed at the Selmun Palace...SO beautiful.

My dad spent 26 years in the Royal Navy (submarines) & was stationed in Malta for a couple of years with my mother.

I was born there at the old RN Hospital in Mtarfa. I have 2 birth certificates; one British & the other Maltese. In effect - I

can move/live there whenever I like! We also lived in Australia for 3 years when he had a 'swap draft' with the Aussie Navy.

I spent 10 days in Malta on holiday the year before last. Fabulous place - and lovely people. I did hire a car for the 10 days

I was there (a rickety old Hyundai)...and that was a real experience/eye-opener! lol.

I'm going back to Malta next year for another holiday infact.

When I went with my parents, my dad parked the hire car (dark blue peugeot 306) in the space and when we came back someone had crashed into it and wrote it off!
