Random Bolt

Featured Replies

While trying to find my missing wallet, I had a good look around the back seats and under the front seats. Under the front passenger seat I come across this bolt just on the floor ?? Does anyone know where it might go or if it's important ?? Looks like someone had a job getting it out.

Looks like it has a trapezoidal thread, looks like a bit of a towing eye.

I'll second that looks like the eye has sheared off, first pic nearly shows it

It's also a left hand thread, 99.99 % sure that's a broken towing eye

Nice one clive

Ah happy days, cheers for that :-) least it's not something from the seat lol.

Nah, it's scuppered so is only fit to ditch unless the previous owner modified it by cutting off the eye so they could fit a towing strap and still refit the eye cover.
