This is my mountune tuned zetec s. I recently added led's to to the headlights to give the car a bit of different look. see the pics.

I have had my car since May and had it converted a week after I got it and I absolutley love it!!!. I had the conversion done at Mountune and I think it was the second one to be done there. I have read on the forum that some people have been having problems with the conversion but so far mine has been fine. The only issue I had was that the car would idle low at a cold start but this happened before I had the conversion done!! seems ok now!

I will be uploading some more pics once I have taken them with my decent camera.

Erm...not sure on the LED lights, but thats your personal choice. Otherwise nice car

Im not really a fan of the interior, the lights look out of place, but a nice spec. Have you got more pics of the mountune stickers on the side? differnt colour than what Ive seen

I actually really like that interior, much more than when I saw it in the brochure. I think it compliments the car perfectly. I would probabably change my mind and add it to my order if my car were not red!

How much did the mountune upgrade affect your insurance by if you dont mind me asking?

I'm not so keen on the lights either, maybe it would have looked better if it went along the whole of the bottom. The ones on actual Audis look a bit iffy too.

Those lights are minted. Think they look better than the way audi does it. Looks like a single light all the way along the bottom rather than loads of little ones

I love the lights too, your car looks lovely, but dont want to pee on your fire but you was not the 2nd person to have the upgrade at Mountune as that was me, had it done on 8th April, Black Titanium was the first car who just had the engine upgrade on Tue 7th April. I am one of the people with power loss - which aint no joke believe me, esp when pulling out into heavy traffic and the car just dies!!! spent more time back at Mountune than I have at home it seems, got replacement wheels atm as the yellow started to wear off and leave silver in its place, have a nice set of black team dynamic glossy alloys atm waiting for Mountune to get me a new set of yellow rims.

Makes your car look like one of those deep sea bioluminesent fish! Not sure whether I like it or not TBH - I guess it all comes down to personal choice and as long as you like it thats all that matters.

Loving the leather interior although not sure about the blue dash - that might be too much blue.

And I so want the Mountune but I am guessing that is never going to happen . . . . oh well build day today (hopefully)

I would settle for a nice Liquid Yellow Clio V6 - trouble is I wanted to have 4 seats this time and don't have much luck with older cars and the Clio would be knocking on now as they have not made them for a while

I only meant the way the lights are. If Audi made it look like a single light the way these are it would be an improvement. Would take an R8 any day over a ford

Someone said they look better than on the Audi which I disagree with...I said give me an R8 anyday because I prefer the lights on the audi to the fiesta and disagreed with the comment that they looked better on the fiesta.

OK maybe mountune meant that my car was the 2nd one done after they got the relase codes from ford. The guy that did the conversion definately said that mine was the second one they did with the new codes. That may explain why you are getting grief with your car. I remember Dave Moore telling me that they did have issues becuase ford did not release the codes for the ECU until the time I had my car done. I don't know exactly what the issues were but they must have done a workaround on the first few cars.

The lights are from Oznium in America. http://www.oznium.com/led-flex-strips

They also do a Side Emitting "Headlight" LED Strips but these aren't as good as they are cased in black and are not as bright. The flexible led strips are definately the ones to go for as the are encased in a clear waterproof rubber and they fit perfectly underneath the headlight. I went for the 19 inch strips and I think it is probably the right length as if you did the whole base of the light you would be lighting up the side of the car plus the 19 inch strips finish directly under the base of the main beam.

Don't worry about shipping costs for these as I opted for the cheapest UPS option and they arrived in 4 days!!

To be honest when I was thinking about doing this mod I wasn't to sure as to how it was going to look, but once I had finished I think it was worth it. The lights look much better in real life and they are very bright. I am going to try and take some good pics with my good camera as the ones on here have been taken with a phone camera.

I fitted my lights to a remote module switch which means I didn't have to tap in to any other wires and I can control them with a remote control.

I just need to upgrade the rest of the headlight bulbs now to get the cool blue/white effect to match the led's
