offside mirror not folding was ok yesterday its not been hit or moved by hand everything else works on it

any ideas why

    Does it make a noise i.e.is it trying to fold? If it's not trying then it's an electrical fault

    Jammed motor perhaps?

    On my Pjaero there were brushes inside the mech to tell the relay that the mirror was in its final position. When these are bust, the mirriors stop! - Perhaps these are of a similer desgin?

    There's not much you can get at, removing the glass doesn't allow much room to do anything, taking the cover off goes nowhere, I tried to repair mine but got no joy, after some destruction I found my gears had stripped.

    I found a place in Bolton that did OE mirror for £70 http://www.fordbits.co.uk/ford-parts-in-bolton/
