Glow Plug Heater Light Flashing

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Had a flashing glow plug heater light.

I have to admit, I was really putting my foot down at the time.

I turned engine off and on again and all was well..

Its a TDCI 130 Ghia X 2006 model with about 130,000 on the clock,

What could this be please?

Many thanks

John

I have also put my handheld reader on the car and there are NO faults showing at all.

Common fault ignore unless any symptoms appear, I had it happen to me in my 04 115 tdci car went into limp mode and cut out and its never happend since

Everytime I have seen or heard of this it's usually been 1 of 2 things.

Egr valve or fuel filter.

Happened to mine, changed the already new filter with another new one still doing it,so i removed the erg valve altogether,no more warning lights.
