I have a budget of around £9K and want to get a Fiesta. Since I have never owned one before, I thought I would see what people have to say about them in here.

Features that I would like to have are:

- Bluetooth

- Parking sensors

- Climate control

- Cruise control

- PAB radio

- Voice control

- Automatic transition (a must)

Based on that, am I right in thinking I should go for the Titanium? Any advice before I go to a dealer to have a look?

Also, I have videos and audio on my android Samsung Galaxy S5 phone. Will I be able to play the tracks through the speakers on the car using bluetooth?

I had my titanium for around that price,1.6 2011 reg and all the above with a lot more but

i thing,it's not auto so you would get one somewhere.

1.0 ecoboost. Prob won't have all that spec but you never know. I got my 2013 model in December 2014 for about 9.5k with about 10k miles on the clock. Tinted rear windows and stop/start. Love it. Drove a 1.6 2013 focus before that but much prefer my fiesta.

My 2013 1.0l ecoboost titanium has all but 2 things on your list. Mine is a manual & doesn't have parking sensors.

All the auto titaniums seem to be 1.4 litre and for £9K I should get a 2011 or 2012 model. I like the newer 2013 look though, but that is just above my price range, sadly.

I didn't even pay attention to the auto part there... There so much out there mate. Go to official ford wedsites, look at the stock, see what you like then see if you can get it somewhere else cheaper then go back to the dealer and see if they will match it.

What sort of performance are you looking for the car?

Performance isn't important to me.

A got my 13plate (facelift) titanium 1.0 ecoboost 125ps only one year old for £9,750 a wee bit of haggling involved and has all that and dab etc except parking sensors but c'mon it's not a big car it's easy to park lol

Those ecoboosts do look very good. But I want auto so...

I've been looking at buying a Fiesta from the "Trust Ford" group. There is one in Enfield. When looking at the Parkers car price guide, should I be using Dealer1 or Dealer2 prices when buying from Trust Ford?

What model how many miles and what year and al be able to give ye guide price to go for bud

Is it the 1.6 yer after and titanium x and any prefered colour? i see one 8k £11.930 you could get him down to about 11.0-4k

All about timing mate go in on a quiet day buddy ask when there cut off day of the month for sales too a waited on purpose to august! best time of year as new plates come in and go in on quiet days and its the end of there quarter too so they will be hungry for sales buddy a got it down to that price plus also got diamondbrite threw in for free and also a full tank of petrol :) in retrospect a shoulda pushed for mudflaps lol

Actually, I am looking for a petrol automatic! And I want to buy the car this week too, so my options are more limited.

If the car was £12K, I was going to say that I am off to see 2 other Titanium X's. but would offer them £10.8K now if they wanted a fast sale. What do you think?

The bonnet had a dink in it, the glovebox door had lots of scoring on there, like a dog had been scratching it or something, the back seat had a mark on it and the bumpers had a bit of scuffing.

The dealer said they can pop out the dink and fill it, sort out the mark on the back seat (looked a bit like tippex)!

Would you buy the car? Should I be expecting better condition for a 2 year old car from the dealer?

Thats the problem these days people have 2 year finance and care very little about the car!

12K seems alot for a 2yr old car tho?

I think you should shop around, reckon there are plenty of ford dealerships that'll have low mileage inculcate first as for same price or less.

Its a titanium x auto, so not many of these around. Only 3 within about 60 miles of me.

A reckon if you can get them fixed and write this in the contract before purchase you will have it and 12k for a titanium x isn't too bad and you can get that down another 300 and a would say take it if they fix them first before actual purchase say you will take it but only if fixed and ur not signing anything till they fix

More will come up, I'd walk away from anything partially neglected, you've only got less than 1 years warranty and I#d be thinking of what else was poorly looked after, it's always worth going that bit further afield to find the perfect motor, I've had a mate of mine go all the way to Panaramicland to buy a car, was a good few K cheaper too and it was mint, you tend to find cars are cheaper in Scotland too, £35 one way flight with Slezyjet just down the road from you and job done, drive it home. never buy just because it's relatively local and all that's about at the time, given they've sold a good few hundred thousand of these fiestas there will be a lot coming up for sale pretty soon given they are over 2 years old now.

Patience is key.

A defo agree it's cheaper up here too and some places would deliver too
