Ford Music Box (Plug Into Existing Loom) Anyone Have It?

Featured Replies

Came across this which adds USB connectivity to basic Mondeo stereo with only AUX input.

Mine only has the bog standard AUX input so this looks like an easy? way to add a hard drive

with all my music on it...

Just wondering if anyone has one? Its over a $100 AU which is a bit much to experiment with so would love some feedback from someone with one or comments?

cheers

I fitted one to my previous car and it is literally just plug and play.

The wiring with the unit patches between the radio socket and the existing plug.

It will only work with memory sticks and won't charge devices but is very simple to use.

The existing stalk controls allow for track and folder skipping but not fast forward or reverse.

I must admit I found I was using mine all the time and hardly listening to any radio channels at all.

I definitely recommend one.

added to my watch list, though I might look on the UK site, I dont want an aussie coming around and taking control of my media :p

Vat free same price...

That is a very good price, even without VAT.

They must have loads surplus then.

Hi guys

I`m having some problems with this usb box MBX01-1746768 http://www.ford-musicbox.eu/index.php?page=products&group=1&product=1&productSub=5

The problem appeared after i upgraded the IC(Instrument cluster)rom level from 230 to 509Full

It starts playing a song from a random folder and when i try to switch the song or the folder it simply makes a continues bep bep like changing the folder and it stops only when i`m turning the volume up and down .Continues playing a random folder. If i don`t touch the audio the usb box plays all the songs from the folder

I changed the usb stick with only 2 folders but it still makes like before

I reseted cd 6000 but no effect

What should i do next?
