Hi newbie here looking for help please, a friend and I are putting a 2002 2.0 130hp diesel engine in a transit connect we want to get rid of the egr valve completely and the cooling system that's connected to it I presume it cools the gases I realise you need a blanking plate where the valve is but what about blanks for hoses and where the cooler is bolted on can you get a whole blanking kit any help would be greatly appreciated

    I fitted the above to my old 05 plate Mondeo ST TDCi - easy hours work.

    hi thanks for replys will the blanking plate fit the 02 model as the egr is on the back right hand side of engine as you face it thanks

    The E.G.R.V. bypass kit above is not a blanking plate, blanking plates cost around £4 off e - bay, just search for the correct one to fit your engine.

    bertye 1958 based in Havant is a good seller.
