Tyres !! Khumo... Any Reviews? Also: Tyre Fitting Rant!!

Featured Replies

Just put a set of 4 "Kumho Ecsta HS51" tyres on my Mondeo MK4 ... 215-55-16W.

Anyone else had experience of these.... ?? Bought on a bit of a whim as needed tyres urgently before a long trip... Usually do a bit more research beforehand though a mate recently put 2 on the front of his Passat Estate and said they were great!

!Removed! local fast fit place managed to badly dent/bend the jacking points at the rear on both sides using a trolley jack!! Noticed once home so I bent them back straight with mole grips and painted some black under seal over the area..... Are the jacking points at the rear of a Mondeo not strong enough to take a trolley jack????

I've used Kumho' s in the past a good tyre, as to the jacking points never had a problem with mine and I use a trolley jack, can't see a trolley jack being different to any other sort of jack as long as the cut outs in the trolley jack are located correctly

Kumhos are normally fine, had 4 ke39's on a mazda6 sport and were a good allround tyre, best ot the budget tyre range out there.
