Intermittent Computer Faults

Featured Replies

Hi.

Recently my mk4 2011 mondeo (2.0 tdci 140bhp 6 speed) has put the engine management light on, but the car runs as normal when it's on. Also once the car has been turned off and back on the light disappears.

I managed to get into the computer and gauge tests and found 3 dtc fault codes, which are C41668, C40168 & C41668. I've searched everywhere to find what they mean but to no avail. I suspect they're probably just sensor blips in the bcu, but without having a special Ford bcu plug in device I can't find out what they are. They're certainly not normal fault codes from the ecu.

Can anybody help with finding what these are and if it's anything serious like an airbag sensor?

Many thanks!

Nadia
