59 reg mark 4 mondeo broken lugs on head light can you just buy the connector ...what is best way to repair

    Do you mean the bit that holds the bulbs, if so you can't get the connector you have to buy a headlight, I found a crashed mk4 and cut the connector off and soldered it on to the old wires wrapped in heatshrink, my connectors had burnt out

    . It's the big multi plug which goes at the back of the headlight unit

    If its just the catch that is broken, I'd just push it in and try to secure in place with some adhesive tape. It's a fiddly connection and very brittle I found. If you need to replace it, you'll need to get one from a scrap dealer or the relevant loom from Ford.
