Ford Mondeo St 2.2 Tdci Cd Changer Problem. Please Help

Featured Replies

Hi,

Hope someone can help me.

We have just bought a mk3 Mondeo ST 2.2 TDCI, but we are having problems with the CD changer. There is a Denso satnav/stereo fitted as well as the cd changer. The head unit is saying CDDJ error. We have established the cd changer is not working. It will not eject. I have taken it out and taken the top off to make sure there isn't a disc stuck and there isn't. With it not ejecting I assumed there was no power to it but when I put it back in after looking at it and plugged it back in it made a noise like it was trying to do something. So there is power to it.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

This is literally the only problem with the car and we just want it to work properly.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Just to add, the part number on the back of the cd changer is 3s7t-18c830-bd
