Also i have noticed that is a loud sound. i have just replaced the tensioner, alternator and a/c compressor. also lots of black smoke comes out when i acelerate normal-hard. what could this be?

Dose it smell like diesel or anti freeze?? Could be water leak from cooler.. Black smoke is common have you had egr cleaned blanked off?? Could also be inlet manifold blocked up to.Thats where i would start

no, it does not smell like diesel and anti freeze is green and what is comming out is brown. i ordered the egr valve blank to see if i get any improvement in performance and slightly more mpg. as for the manifold, its the black part located at the front of the motor behind the egr ? what kind of solution do you use to clean that? (WD40?)

Have you had your aircon running? Is it oily?

There are only so many fluids in the car, if its not oily and doesn't smell like antifreeze or screenwash then I'm going with air con

ok, so i took out the manifold and egr valve and it was nasty... it took me forever to clean that out but it was worth it because the result were really possitive, almost no black smoke left :driving: now, the motor runs very bad when cold on idle and power drops when acelerating hard. my guess is that the injectors are very dirty. tomorrow im gonna try the return fuel test to see if they have any problem.

the leaking problem continues. i think i found were the antifreeze comes from. its a bolt screwed into the engine block, just under the manifold to the right and under the steering fluid pump. i tighten it since it was very loose. after a day it began to leak again from the same bolt, is that common problem?
