Always Good To Have A Clean Backside .

Its all about the bling, got to keep the Audi badge clean! I wonder what they have done for the front badge?

I was more impressed that they seemed to indicate correctly! :)

LOL

Not to stereotype Audi drivers, but I expect keeping the Audi badge clean was more important than the window.

I suspect they went to kwik fit...

I posted the same video but have deleted the post now to defer to the busier thread.

nice one :P

The area that the car is in on the video was closed last week due to a burst water main up the hill so maybe he repositioned the wiper so that he could clear the water :p

What a terrible thing to say James. Kwik Fit are very honest and reputable mechanics... If it hadn't been for one of their skilled and thoughtful employees I'd have never known my indicator fluid was running dangerously low.

Haha, well, i'm glad they sorted your indicator fluid, I bet they offered to convert it to a liquid nitrogen system too!

I had Kwik Fit practically beg me to apply for a job with them while I was working for McDonald's. I told them to do one.

..........Kwik Fit.... they manage to crack Volvo 960 heads  and deform exhaust manifolds  , in ways that puzzled Volvo engineers

And yet they wondered why I turned them down...

I suspect working at Kwik fit, is like working in the adult film industry. (no I dont mean getting oily and passing time being filmed for late night viewing)....

I suspect its a case you could be either a rather well respected mechanic, or someone with an exceptional talent that you should not pass up on - (much like some respected actors, who decided "Yeah I will do one of those movies") but then all of a sudden, the industry sees you, where you have been, and that you used to stick potato's up peoples exhaust pipes for a living, and all of a sudden, you are very much stuck for the rest of your life, plugging peoples exhausts with potato's, just to make enough money to exist...

And that is exactly why I turned them down.

The chap that was our school bully became a potato jammer, indicator fluid changer and nitrogen filler at Kwik Fit - a logical progression from school bullying, really! :P

No, everybody knows you can't do that. They did give me a good deal on my muffler bearing though.

Did they swap the halogen oil in the headlights too?

Did they swap the halogen oil in the headlights too?

Or offer you an upgrade to Xenon oil, where they could also grease your ballasts :P

Was the brake pad oil in need of re-filling too?

Just thought I'd better share some info from my Kwik Fit fitter.

Although it can vary between makes and models, generally your indicator/headlamp fluid (same fluid can be used for both) should be topped up when it gets to half empty, as in this picture:

standard-blinker-fluid-level-e1438520543

It is also worth noting that the fluid in the above picture is getting dirty, so you should consider a fluid change for optimum performance. Contact your local Kwik Fit for more information and to book an appointment.

You've not heard of their latest product?

Used brake pad oil is REALLY bad for the environment (who knew?)...so they've developed a brand new range of brake pads instead.

These pads NEVER need oiling!!

The secret is in the material - they're made from 100% biodegradable banana skins.

Sure, they cost more than regular brake pads and have a service life considerably shorter - but think of the environment!!

My dad had them put on 4 tyres (Motability car), went from Continental Sport Contact's to some random tyres that had less grip than the Continental's which had 2 on the limit. Yet charged Motability more than what the Continental's were worth... The tyres were worth about £30 each.
