Mk3 Ghia Audio Package Differences??

I own a 2004 Ghia 2.2l TDCI. Two weeks ago a hog crossed the road in front of me and I hit him. Totaled my car. :angry:

I found a replacement in a 2003 Ghia X with 2.0L Tdci. It had some features that my car does not ie. a sunroof, rear park sensors etc. But oddly enough the sound system sounds weaker. With the '04 it sounds like it has a sub somewhere and is quite good for a factory setup. But I have never been able to spot a subwoofer.

So should there be that much difference? Both are Denso head units. Should I swap speakers before I junk my old car? Thanks!

    I know that when the facelift arrived the speakers in ghia upwards were now double cone so sound much better than the older preface or lx zetec spec...I would swop out the old cars speakers for the 04 ghia ones..

    Could I trouble you to verify that I am indeed upgrading? I put the rear door speakers in already.

    I haven't driven the car yet to see if there is a difference and I didn't want to turn up the radio in my driveway to keep the peace.
