Mondeo 1.8 Tdci Non Start

Featured Replies

Hi i am new to the forum, and i was hoping someone here could help me please...

I have owned my mondeo 1.8 tdci 2008 for seven months it has done quite a few miles (180,000), but it drives like new.

I parked it up on christmas eve with no problems and after leaving it for 5 days i went to start it, and when i turn the key lights are on the dash but the car wont start, so i called a friend whos mechanically minded and he had a look. He took a probe to the starter and it turns over, so it isnt that he done a diagnostic test and the codes where.

p2505 ecm/pcm power input signal current dtc

p0a09 dc/dc converter fault circuit low current dtc

p0562 system voltage low.

He tried to clear them but they came straight back. he told me to charge the battery check all the fuses in the engine bay and inside the car and check to see if the wires are chewed which they are not. But now hes not answering and im stuck without a clue or a car.

If any one could help it would be much apprecited.

Probable flat or severely discharged battery ?
