Hi, I have a 2007 2.0 tdci Mondo, it's a fantastic car, but it keeps going into limp home mode if i accelerate to 3000rpm? I've been to my local garage for a diagnostic and the code P010f was showing, mass air flow sensor! So replaced it and had the code reset but it's still doing the same thing and the code comes up agian, any help on this please? Thanks Mark

When was the airfilter last changed ?

  • Author

Hi Mark, it had a full service about 6000 miles ago,

Is the replacement M.A.F. brand new ?

  • Author

Yes, it's a Beckermann part, part No 803-0166

Unplug the new M.A.F. & take the car for quick spin & let me know if there's a difference ( better or worse or the same )

Hi Mark, had a good look around were the air box too turbo pipes run and noticed what looked like a split by the second jubilee clip is! So I took the top off the air box and it just came off in my hand! Looks like when it was last serviced thay hadn't fitted it back on properly, so i fitted it back as it should be and it's running like a dream! Thanks for your help, I wouldn't have even looked if you hadn't of told me to disconnect the lead

Sorted :)
