Not sure on that one, I tried hitting the Ford servers with a few different language pack numbers but couldn't find any others beyond the ones I've listed. :(

ANNOUNCEMENT:

SYNC 2 v3.10 is coming. In the USA it is already available (still not via sync.myride but currently only at dealers). 

I guess we have to wait a little bit until it will get to EU.

I've tried to guess the 3.10 URL without success.

Will post them here as soon as possible though.

They have been installed in Russia, which afaik uses the same EU version.

Well the same stuff as in 3.08 :D

- Siri Eyes *-...bla bla bla

- Better phone pairing 

- In Navigation: Easier introduction of targets in China :D not very helpful to tell the truth

I was going to ask if anyone had heard anything about a new update. Now I have the answer :)

I have just checked Ford Australia and at present there isn't a new update there. Still tells me my car is up to date!

Do the links in the first post only apply to cars with built in navigation? The radio in my Focus looks like this and the Ford India trick doesn't seem to work any more as it tells me the VIN is not for an Indian car.

It is only for Sync 2, so you must have the touchscreen.

Finally plucked up the courage to do this update and, mercifully, everything went to plan.  Particular thanks to alexp999 ... and also all those others who posted their experiences (so, in the event, there were no surprises).

I had few problems before the update and since find "the roundabout problem" has now been resolved and the screen is very much more receptive when used.

I'm also waiting for the 3.10 update.
I wasn't successful in guessing the URL either, and haven't found any other link so far.

So, I will be very grateful if anyone finds a download link (I would need the german language pack).

Hopefully the update will enable us to navigate to addresses from the phone book. (Or am I missing something here?)

Won't know until we can get hold of the update, then you can see in the installer file which versions it will apply to.

Been looking for the 3.10 version with no luck until now, but I did stumble upon the latest 3.08 revision 4 which includes a navigation update to version 5.67.6 

links are the same as the ones in the opening post, except for Rev4 instead of Rev2 at the end.

Well done alexp999 on a nice find and a great post. I'm only new to this forum and my mondeo and I'm like you with the touch of OCD so I'm just wondering about checking the VIN on Ford India so I know what download to use but I couldnt find it there. Don't suppose ya could give an idiots guide?

Found the updated change log of the v3.10 so mostly cosmetic changes.

The new software update for SYNC with MyFord Touch systems includes all the improvements from previous updates, plus additional changes to accommodate new and updated customer devices, such such as:
Hazard switch illuminates on Focus / Escape with ignition off and park lamps on /
Next Track / Previous Track controls from SYNC touchscreen
SYNC Maintaining Repeat / Shuffle settings that were set on the device side /
Compatibility updates for the latest phone and media devices

Now we just need to find the files...
