So... After 14 years my dad is getting rid of his 14year old 52 plate, Nissan X trail sport in zinc. Immaculate condition, he's looked after it really well, but the mechanics of it is becoming somewhat expensive to run and replace. I'm happy he's getting a new car, but sad to see the car I grew up in leave the family. 

Yesterday, I got home from coaching, and he says, we saw (him and mum) you driving past the TrustFord garage. So I'm like why was you there? We know he's been looking at new cars fiesta's, focus', and mustangs, but he's not going to tell us which he has gone for. So he's told me and gaz (my brother) to write the Model, Trim, engine and colour of what we think he has gone for. Delievery is due to 2-3weeks from now. 

That'll be interesting!  How can his Nissan be 14 years old though, if it is a 52 plate?

EDIT - 2002-2016 is 14 years.  What an idiot!!  I somehow thought we were in 2014...

Lol, it's weird how time seems to fly, I can't believe 10 plate cars are 6 years old now... 

 

What do you win if you guess right?  (Though given the amount of specs and colours it's not likely lol)

I'll guess he's bought a Focus...  Probably 1.0 EcoBoost 125.  Titanium X trim.  Grey.

Ive gone for Fiesta Zetec S Deep impact blue. 1.0 125. 

Hes told us the reg number, but i cant find anything on google ;) 

Me and gaz hope its a mustang. But if it were, he'd go for the 2.3 liter given the fact he does around 6500miles a year. Due to working about 3-4miles from home. 

 

It aint registered with ford etis yet either.... -.-

My dad has crumbled. He asked me what my guess was, I said Fiesta, 1.0 125,Zetec S, Deep Impact Blue. 

He says I got one bit wrong. 

The colour. He's ordered the magnetic grey 😏

Looks good!  I like the colour - never seen one in that shade.

It does look nice in that colour. Its always nice to get a new car to. Hope he enjoys it.

Wow that colour looks really nice. Can I be cheeky and ask how much he paid inc the extras such as sat nav? Looking at a similar spec myself.

Sorry mate, I think overall price was around 14... Not too sure, he had part ex, as you can see, his options were city pack, privacy glass and Magnetic. Sat Nav too, not sure if that was an option he chose or if it came standard, can't remember off top of my head. It's a gorgeous car mate.

Thanks bud. And nah, not yet, he took me for a spin though it ain't much difference to my own, just a tad firmer with the "sport" suspension and 17in" alloys as apposed to my 16in". And his been the 125 has that bit more pull, but ain't much difference tbf. 

My brother (Gaz) has an st-3, got 4Fez's in the family. 

Mum has a 55plate FEZ😏
