Dimming - menu

Featured Replies

There's a 'Dimming' menu on the stereo which gives two options - Daylight and Automatic.

What does it actually dim?

Why not choose each option and see the difference :P

Daylight means the menu is at full brightness all the time whereas automatic dims the menu when you turn the sidelights on. ie for driving at night.

As far as I am aware this dims the audio display, automatic dims as it gets lighter in the car, daytime dims at a certain time. As when you turn your headlights on the display dims
