Heater controls conversion?

Featured Replies

Hi, does anyone know if it's possible to change the heater controls in a 2001 Mondeo from the dial type to the digital type? Do they share the same plug configuration? Pics attached if it helps.

I dont believe it is as easy as that because they digital version needs sensors to monitor temp etc,

Ah, that would make sense!

My controls are a bit shot, the fan only goes to position number 3, any further then the fan shuts down completely, and every time you move the dial for direction of air the air con switches on! Just about to but some on eBay but the digital ones are cheaper, thought I'd check first, at least I know now.

Thanks for a quick bit of advice!
