59 Estate rear bumper

I am looking to add some protection to the rear bumper, on my mk3 estate I had the crome sculptured best description bumper scuff plate.

I have found the one shown bellow but list shows 10 plate on, went to a Ford garage in next town as local having building work done, the young lad on parts desk looked and said " the bumper part number is diffrent so it won't it".

My question is will it fit the 59 Plate,  as I have also seen a diffrent type listed that is plastic and the year list on that is 07 -14 ?

Any help would be great, or has anyone fitted on the 07-59 was it a straight fit?

Would like the crome as will tie in with the rest of the car the plastic looks cheap in the pics I have seen
