Help please tdci cutting out

just wondering if i could have some help.
 
I brought a mondeo tdci zetec s.
Overall its a really nice car except it likes to cut out
 
The glow plug light will flash after about 2 seconds the engine will cut out this could happen every 50 yards or mile there is no link to it just does it when it likes.
 
Read online about the cam sensor so took the plung and brought a genuine ford one fitted it and now i have the same problem except it has changed slightly.
 
Now the glow plug light will flash then it will jump into limp mode for abit then cut out.
 
Also when i boot it and go up to about 3k it puffs out alot of black smoke not sure if this is normal or not.
 
When the car is on idle it is a little bit shakey aswell not sure if this is linked to anything i have a copy of f super coming soon to plug it in just want to see if you guys may know of the fault
