Mondeo turns over but won't fire

Featured Replies

Hi guys I need some help with a problem with my mondeo. On Saturday evening my car started but with in seconds stopped, tried to start the car again but it turns over but will not fire.

I borrowed a code reader but it shows no codes don't think it's the right reader for my car). Have however got a couple of codes from test mode

One is F00616 and the other is C41668

I think fuel isn't getting to the injectors so could it be the fuel filter (which needs changing anyway)

I appreciate any help/advice you can give me

Cheers

Brian

start with the fuel filter and make sure you definitely fill and prime it correctly.

You should get a modified ELM cable and download FORSCAN for the best diagnostics you can do at home.
