Painting primed parts..

Featured Replies

A few weeks back I ordered a new part for my car from ford and its being sent over from germany in the next few days, the part being 1554438 rear bumper skirt (3 piece design)..

I got a quote from ford to paint the two corner bits for £100 or there abouts... but im thinking of doing it myself

My car colour is panther black...

what do i need to paint it and how to be honest???

it comes primed...

any advice is great thanks

to be honest if you dont know how to use a pearl basecoat/lacquer and want a flawless job i would leave it to a professional. with little or no experience its probably not worth bothering.

As said above, you need to do it in a dust free enviroment and with a spray gun etc etc, not really something you can be doing with an aerosol can
