ok so 1 in every 4 refueling or is it not worth even that

Stick to normal unleaded, waste of money for a Fiesta

I remember seeing a test on fifth gear about the difference between cars running on standard 95 RON or super unleaded (98 ish). They tested a supermini, a hot hatch and an impreza I think it was. They only noticed any substantial increase in bhp on the impreza, whilst the supermini had no change whatsoever. Wouldn't bother putting premium fuel in anything less than 200bhp really - you might get slightly better fuel economy, but you pay more for fuel in the first place.

have you carst iron proof

because i would beg to differ on that.

as i had a tuned mk11 escort and was adviced to run it on v power or the bp stuff as it was a better burning fuel.by the engine builders

and i also no from other ppl that using this fuel makes a difference just like the nitrogen in my tyres :P .And also the eddie stobart run there rally cars on 99 ron fuel which u can get from some tesco's filing stations.

Fair bit of difference between a standard 1.25 to 1.6 Fiesta and either a tuned car or even rally cars.

Super unleaded is only really beneficial on cars with advanced ignition timing in my experience.

Agree, certain performance cars and bikes have 'knock' sensors which detect pre-detenation of the fuel. Basically it works out if it explodes before the spark because of the pressure.

the 97/99 RON fuels have a higher tolerance to pre-detination. As such an engine with the right equipment onboard can change the timing slightly to achieve a little better performance. It's a slim gain but really you should notice a crisper, slightly smoother throttle.

I dont think the new Fiestas have knock sensors in so it prob wont make a difference, you'll still prob get a bit better MPG but tire pressures/driving style will make a bigger difference. Plus, as said above its unlikely to even out money wise (i.e. the ~10% price difference wont mean 10% extra MPG).
