I've just inherited a ford focus from my 27yr old son who sadly passed away 3 weeks ago. It is a 2003 ford focus 1.6 zetec. I want to keep this car for as long as humanly possible. Any tips, advice would greatly be appreciated hence joining this great club.

So sorry to hear of your loss, is it your intention to store it or drive it?

I would like to drive it for as long as possible.

Hi & welcome

Sorry for your loss, I would get the body work protected with a rust treatment first, new timing belt, and if you really want the car to last for a long time maybe an engine rebuild to restore it to it's former glory
