How good are ecoboost engines

I am not an expert on those cars so my question would be. 

I am looking for to switch form a ford focus 1.6 diesel 90hp to a ford focus 1.6 petrol ecoboost 182hp (2013).

And my question is are the ecoboost 1.6 petrol engines reliable ? 

Do they have any problems that I should be concerned with 

And overall what are your opinions on those engines

    I have a 1.6 diesel Ecoboost Mondeo and I am pleased with it. No good for challenging the boy racers but it gets me from A to B with excellent fuel economy and the road tax is £30 a year.

    Had a facelifted Focus 1.0 Titanium X for almost a year now, through Ford direct. No problems with the eco boost, it drives slightly differently to my old Mk1 Focus, a bit like a diesel possibly. I still find the gearing slightly odd, with a 6 speed box I feel like I am constantly changing and 2nd feels a bit sluggish. Almost feel an automatic might have been a better choice. Overall a great car however would recommend.

    I've got the 1.6 petrol ecoboost (150 BHP) and love it. Not had any issues with it so far (only bought it a few months ago though). I like the balance between good MPG and decent acceleration/power.
