Hi,

I made a a folder for every artist first, and then in that folder each album in a folder of their own.

So... When searching on the car screen the artist is shown, then press the right button for the list of albums, and then press up/down for the album you want.

Hope that helps

Yes they are, but WMA works aswell, but I preferred to keep them all the same.

If I bought a USB memory stick, does it give me the name of the artist on the screen, aswell as the song? Or does it only do this on the Ipods?

I just created 10 folders called Ford1 to Ford10 it tells you this in the handbook when you get it. I then just put my folders from my MP3 archive which are usually artist and album labbeled. Then I created a playlist for each folder in the format Ford1.m3u to Ford10.m3u in the root directory of the USB drive. (again this is in the handbook when you get it.) Doing this allows my to play the playlists using voice control with each playlist being themed for my different moods. I think you can drill down further with the folders to integrate better with the voice control but this is all I need and it works well.

The title of the track, and track number, comes up on the screen when it's playing.

All file names come up when looking/searching through the files.

Thats correct if the MP3s have ID3 tagging then pressing the info button thats the soft button at the far bottom right then you get all the tag info stored with the file Artist, Album, Trackname, file name etc.

Hi, newbie to the forum and newbie to Fiesta Mk7 1.4 petrol Titanium. Do you know which id tags the audio actually reads. I have tried a usb memory stick and some tracks show 01 or 02 etc before the song title others show the name of the band instead of the title. I know this is because my tags info is wrong on my songs, which I can alter. But which actual id tags does it read?
