Hi all i have a fiesta 1.3i endure e engine 51 plate. does any one know what tool i could use to unscrew the battery cells so that i can top the battery up i have tryed everything and notthing seems to work any ideas cheers.

Id agree with that, sounds a bit dangerous topping it up yourself.

I used to do it will my clio battery everything was ok.

Nothing wrong with topping it up yourself.

A big flat screwdriver or the flat end of a pry bar usually does the trick

2 pence piece, always keep one in top of me tool chest for just that.

Ensure you top up with ionised water or water that is as pure as you can, easy and cheap is to freeze a bottle of water then let it thaw to room temp, and you got yourself some topup fluid :)

All you need to do is make sure that the cells are just covered by the water by about 5/6mm.

Its fine on all fluid batteries, new sealed gel batteries you are unable to topup and SHOULD NOT be tampered with.
