According to some details I`d assume it was a New Fiesta  , but have not found more pics... RIP

The engine certainly looks like one ford use and the back shelf certainly looks like a MK7 shelf, as do the seats.

ouch.

any news on what it hit, or hit it?

I thought they were like 5* crash rated?! ooooch, nasty.

Piggy :(

Good grief!!!

What on earth happened here?

:o :o :o

maybe the owner got upset with the dealership...

surely the driver died from that, looks like an awful crash !

Well thats the end of his no claims discount!

its ok i think it was a studio.....

lets hope it did'nt fall off the back of a transporter or someones gonna have an even longer wait! lol

Oh dear! That looks horrible! Wonder what could have caused this much damage?

Think quite alot of the damage might be the car being pulled appart by the emergency services (the roof and maybe the left side of the car) so just possibly someone was pulled out of it alive.

Nasty :( It looks like it has been hacked to pieces to get somebody out but looking at the side that's left doesnt look too badly deformed the doors still seem to be in place. Are we sure this is a MK7? seems too square at the back and the piece that may be the rear tailgate window looks too square, also whats left of the bumper at the fromt looks wrong and from the angle of the photo the front suspension looks too far forward. I suspect this could be a MK6 or even a Fusion unless it's just the anglke of the photo distorting things.

The Ncap 5 star rating is only for a 30MPH standard crash test. Looking at the damage at the front I suspect the impact here was considerably faster than that.

Fappin' hell. Poor person or persons who were in that :(

I'm not sure this is a Mk7 Fiesta, looks more like a Zafira to me :lol:

Not a Mk7 Fiesta it's too big, look's like a mini MPV. Zafira or VW Touran

I agree it does look too big to be a fiesta. Saying that though the parcel shelf and rear headrests do look distinctly Fordish, C Max maybe?

im doubting that it is a fiesta, looks to big, probably a cmax or something.

plus:

That youtube link dont work...

Anyway...I can tell you its a diesel t start.

Those headrest/back shelf and suspension components are certainly Ford.

But its the wheels that make me think smaller vehicle. They look no more then a 185 width profile, you get 195 now on most standard mini MPVs, even steels.

Im thinking low spec festa still or at most a fusion.

Piggy :)

I think it is a fiesta. If you look at the dials you can see the top of the silver deep bezel that the dials are in, and the bit of the actual dashboard that extends over the top of the bezel.

i dont know what the fuss is a bit of t-cut should polish that out

I`ve seen today C-Max standing next to my Fiesta, taken closer look and now I think that also this wreck should have been C-max, if you look at 3rd window behind C-pillar it`s bigger that Fiesta`s have, but same shape as C-maxes...

im edgin on fusion myself

i dont know what the fuss is a bit of t-cut should polish that out

I've taxed worse lol
