Engine stutter at 2000 rpm

Hi all hope someone can help ? Just recently my Mondeo started to splutter at 2000rpm fine before and after also very smokie ,grey smoke while driving above or below 2000rpm but at 2000rpm coughs a puff of black smoke ! Can anyone help please ?
