wait..... is that because I asked if a lighter would work to help take bearing out ?   it was a genuine question as I have never done a bearing replacement so I really wouldn't know but maybe to somebody who has done this before it may seem a dumb question. is it ?

I think my 2 year old son would probably question it to be honest

As regards heat look on Utube or something like for Gen 2 bearings  there are  plenty of how to vidios there .But no a lighter  (lol) will NOT do you may or not, probably not need some kind of gas blow torch or something like it .But as I said before with the correct tools it should come out O.k with out any heat, you probably would only need heat if it was very stuck with rust.. Use the right tool and you will be fine.
