US-spec Ford Fiesta - a lot of small changes. The one things that sticks out for me (literally) are the bigger bumpers.

Inside looks nice likeing the syle of the leather seats

I don't know what to think about the exterior, seems to have lost a lot of its edginess. It's taken on that kind of generic round edged bubble look that they seem to have in America. The chrome band behind the badge on the saloons looks a bit tacky and the lower grill looks a bit ordinary now. Don't like the giant chrome sidelight things either...

How come they've changed the position of the aerial? I'm guessing it's because of the addition of a sunroof.

Interior wise; do they have blue ambient lights now? Noticeable in the footwell and the passenger side strip. Also, what's the button under the warning light button? The bottom section of the centre console looks even more like a transformer's face now.

The first version looks quite nice I guess. Are most cars in America automatic? Doesn't seem like fun driving over there!

Well I'm guessing we will have those silver parts on the front bumpers in the UK as they look just right for daylight LED strips, bar that I don't like it, well my car IMO certainly looks much better. However these are for the American taste. Surprised they don't have 5 litre V8's that have 230 BHP, top speed of 130mph and MPG of 4 :D

Most US cars are indeed auto.

They have bigger bumpers for a good reason - a good proportion of drivers use them for just that - bumping 'carefully'. If you've ever hired a car in the US, you'll notice they don't care for fender-bender scrapes :)

Heated seats too! Just noticed that. Thats why I didn't get Leather. It is -3C here just now and I don't fancy sitting on freezing Leather just now. Hopefully we will get some of these improvments in Fiesta 7.2

I expect that a lot of these 'promo' shots will be just that, maybe some things will change come final spec. But it's been out there for ages that the US version will get big bumpers and wider grille. As for the sunroof, the Chinese built Fiestas already get those :(

I'm liking the mini Focus ST wheels though =) (despite the fact they look like a 16")

prefer euro model, wonder if the slated lower lights will appear in 2011 for the new euro day lights law? can imagine them with a line of led's fitted.

lol - indeed! Other than whenever I've hired a car in Italy (THE worst place on earth to drive a car!) - the US is a close 2nd. I think in order to pass their stringent laws regarding pedestrian safety if hit by a car, they have to have larger, more-flexible bumpers anyway - hence the changes to the American version of the Fiesta.

Love The Goblin just how he is thank you very much
