I find the system far too eager to kick in, and would drive most of the time with it switched off. It makes doing a fast pull off very difficult - because at the slightest sniff of wheel spin it kills the power.

Yeah I agree that it would be better if Ford had put in a TC off button, the only cars you usually get no option to turn it off are dynamically unsound! Saying that, I don't find it too over eager tbh, it lets me have a bit of wheelspin before it cuts in, and I like watching the light flashing on the dash lol.

I'm noticing this more and more now, especially at roundabouts where you really need to kick it unless you want to be sat there forever. No doubting that I do actually want the traction control! But I think that if I had a choice I would probably switch it off around town in 30mph areas.

Come to think of it I also think that the ABS can be over the top as well a lot of the time. I originally though my wheels were actually locking until i realised it was the ABS! None of my past cars have had any of these features so I'm quite aware how much I can brake/accelerate before the wheels lose grip on the road!

I really wouldn't have thought that there was any point in things like the Mountune upgrade without first installing this switch!

Will probably aim to get this done by the end of the year, but will first check that the wiring behind the console in my car is the same as it is in the pics from fordfiestaitalia.com

I was thinking that if it cuts in on me without the mountune then it must be a real hinderance on cars that do have the mountune. Does your car really spin all over the place? Also I haven't seen a Mountune Titanium yet, have you posted any pics, would be good to see :)
